About the bootcamp
The Zaio Cloud & DevOps Engineering bootcamp is a seven-month DevOps course, live online. Four months of application development in Python, Django, JavaScript and React come first, so you understand what you deploy; then Linux, Docker, AWS, Terraform and CI/CD with GitHub Actions. You sit two AWS certification exams and finish with a portfolio running on live cloud infrastructure.

(01)What is the price of the Cloud & DevOps Engineering bootcamp?
The upfront fee is R42,850, which is the lowest total price for this bootcamp. You can also pay from R4,178 a month through Manati, or in instalments; both cost more in total.
(02)How long is the bootcamp?
Seven months, or 30 weeks, of live online classes broken into weekly and daily tasks, with 12 months of access to the recordings afterwards.
(03)Are there exams?
The bootcamp is project-based, but it includes two AWS certification exams: the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner in month six and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate after a preparation sprint in weeks 29 and 30.
(04)Do I need coding experience?
No. The first month teaches Python from the very beginning, and the programme is designed for people who have never coded.
(05)What is the difference between cloud engineering and DevOps?
Cloud engineers design and run infrastructure on platforms such as AWS; DevOps engineers automate how software is built, tested, deployed and monitored. The two overlap heavily, and this bootcamp teaches both: AWS services and Linux for the cloud side, Docker, Terraform and GitHub Actions for the DevOps side.
(06)Is this an AWS course?
It is a cloud and DevOps bootcamp that uses AWS as its cloud platform and prepares you for two AWS certifications. You also learn the application development, Linux and automation skills that AWS certifications alone do not cover.
(07)What if I fall behind?
You get feedback throughout, and you can book one-on-one sessions with the head tutor. If you do not meet the criteria for the second AWS exam, you still graduate with the Cloud Practitioner certification.

No. Hiring for cloud roles is competitive and we do not promise placement. We give you the skills, the certifications, the portfolio and the introductions.
