What studying in Cape Town is like
How studying in Cape Town works
Classes are live and online, so you join from Khayelitsha, Bellville or Sea Point at the same time as classmates in Durban and Polokwane. The difference in Cape Town is that you also have somewhere to go: the Zaio Innovation Hub in Woodstock, where students study on site, meet their instructors and mentors in person, and where open days and advisor consultations are held. Think of it as your campus, not your classroom.
Coding bootcamp in Cape Town: what to expect
Six to seven months, live classes several times a week, a mentor who reviews your work, a 24/7 AI tutor between classes, and a portfolio at the end. No degree, no matric and no experience required for a bootcamp. If you want a national qualification instead, the Occupational Certificates take 18 months to two years and need matric or an NQF Level 4 equivalent.
Open days and consultations in Cape Town
The 2026 Cape Town open day was held at the hub on Saturday 16 May; the next dates are on the events page. You can also book an advisor consultation at the hub or by phone. Parents are welcome at both.
