Are Zaio events free?
Yes. Open days, townhalls and the graduation ceremony are all free; register on the event page.
Where are the open days held?
At the Cape Town Innovation Hub, Floor 2, Block B, 66 Albert Road, Woodstock, and the Durban Innovation Hub, 221 Musgrave Road, Berea.
Can parents attend?
Yes. Open days are designed for school leavers, career changers and parents together, and advisors are there to answer fee and accreditation questions.
What is a Zaio townhall?
A streamed session with a guest speaker and live Q&A, held every quarter so far; the recordings stay up and anyone can watch.
Do I need to be a student to attend?
No. Every event is open to the public unless the event page says otherwise.
When is the next open day?
Dates are announced on this page and in The Weekly Commit newsletter. Our 2026 open day ran in Cape Town and Durban in May.
