FAQ

Questions about applying for 2027.

(01)Do I need matric to apply?
An Occupational Certificate asks for matric or an NQF Level 4 equivalent. If you do not have it, ask us about Recognition of Prior Learning — work experience or earlier study can count toward eligibility.
(02)Is this a degree?
No. It is an Occupational Certificate registered on the National Qualifications Framework and issued by the QCTO. Most are at NQF Level 5, the same level as a Higher Certificate. We will never describe it as a degree.
(03)Can I work while I study?
Classes are scheduled and live, so you need to be free at those times. Many students study alongside work; an advisor will take you through the timetable for the programme you want before you commit.
(04)What does it cost?
Paying upfront is the lowest total price for every programme; instalments and Manati financing cost more in total. Your advisor gives you every cost in writing before you enrol, including the separate EISA exam fee.
(05)What if I miss the closing date?
Closing dates differ by programme, and not every 2027 intake has been announced yet. Speak to an advisor and they will tell you the next one that is open.
